Sliding shower systems from River Glass Designs offer great style and functionality. They are a great solution when there is not enough room for a hinged door system. They can be very effective solutions even in the most awkward spaces. Using no aluminum parts, our systems have all solid stainless components, creating a sturdy and long lasting solution for your space. Unlike premade kits that fit a wide range of widths, we custom cut our glass for each project so it fits your opening appropriately.
Single Sliding Systems
Single sliding systems typically have one operable door and one fixed panel. These are a great option when access is only needed from one side of the opening. They can also be installed with a 90 degree return panel for corner units. Available in a model with oversized rollers as seen in the picture below and a model with a minimal low profile roller design for a more sleek style.
Double Sliding Systems
When access from both sides of the opening is needed a double slinging system is the proper choice. Although a common solution for tub showers, they can also be installed on full height walk-in shower openings. Not only do they look great, but they offer unmatched versatility as you maneuver through your bathroom space. Available with both a metal support bar as seen in the picture below and a solid glass support bar for a breathtaking sightline.

Glass Color
A common conversation we have is Standard Clear glass vs Low-Iron glass. It is important to understand the difference. Low-Iron glass is ultra-clear and provides a higher degree of transparency than standard clear glass. The optimal clarity is achieved by removing most of the iron oxide content used to produce glass. The improved clarity of Low-Iron glass is very discernable when the background is light in color. Are all Low-Iron products created equal? No. Low-Iron is just a general glass description. There are various brands that make Low-Iron glass. River Glass Designs carries Optiwhiteâ„¢. It has industry leading surface clarity and a jewel like edge. Optiwhiteâ„¢ is 87% less green than standard glass. Other hybrid products will not offer the same standard in clarity.
Protective Coating
River Glass Designs is a certified applicator and distributor of Diamon-Fusion® protective glass coatings. Diamon-Fusion® is an ultra-thin, UV resistant, protective glass coating that transforms ordinary glass into a high-performing, water-repellent surface. Similar to how a non-stick cooking pan works, surfaces treated with Diamon-Fusion® become easier to clean and requires less care to maintain. Its patented, two-step process chemically bonds to the glass filling in the microscopic peaks and valleys of the surface.
